Chuffed to announce that a new comic book anthology entitled Tales Of Astoundment contains a story written by my good self. The collection of skewed sci-fi tales is the brainchild of writer-editor Benet Simon, who invited me to contribute a story. The result is 'Smart Bomb'. Here's the pitch:
In the near future, a cranially-underprivileged loser named Copernicus Flubb orders the Smart Bomb: a grenade-like device which, when detonated, increases the user's intelligence one-thousandfold. But the device is a con, designed to prey on the intellectually under-endowed, and when a chance encounter with an extraterrestrial boosts his IQ to genius level, Flubb swears revenge against its inventor...
Boasting sleek artwork by the uber-talented Lauren Reaves (aka Laurrea) and a script assist by my old buddy and ace writer Mike Ogunbowale, the story quite frankly rocks, and I'm stoked to see it included alongside Benet's other insane instalments.
Tales Of Astoundment is published by Markosia Enterprises and will be available in paperback and Kindle versions - and via comics app Comixology - from 16th July. You can pre-order it from Amazon here.
